It is interesting that when we use our Kindle, our iPad or the numerous other electronic devices that we carry, all that we do electronically is kept in a “cloud” until we need it again. I have thought about what a wonderful gift that is for us in our daily lives. We can pull down data anytime we want, from somewhere out there. Then I thought about the helping Spirit that is given to us by God and how we often just allow it to float up in the “clouds” until we really need it. Or, is it playing an active, every minute, every day part of our life? Often we only pull it down when we are in a major catastrophe. The Spirit is our warnings; our guides; our link with our Heavenly Father. It provides calmness in the storm. Wouldn’t you think we would keep it close by, tucked in our hearts constantly? Let us turn on our listening ear, which is deep within us, and stay closely connected to God’s heart. Make sure that other things don’t drown it out. We need it all the time, now more than ever.
